  • Hanshi, started training in Judo in 1970, gaining 1st Dan in 1981. He met Soke Cheek in1987 Kyoshi having trained in various martial arts, following a single training session, he was hooked on Soke’s unique brand of Jiujitsu.
  • Hanshi has had the honour of training & working with Soke through the inception and creation of Jukoshin Ryu. Hanshi is one of Soke’s longest serving students and is a major advocate and exponent of Jukoshin Ryu Jiujitsu on the International stage.
  • A founding member of Jukoshin Ryu Jiujitsu, He has been honoured by Soke on several occasions, being promoted through the ranks of Jukoshin Ryu to 9th Dan.

  • Hanshi Drexler started his martial arts journey in the early 1970’s firstly in Shotokan Karate, followed by Judo at the Godo Kwai Dojo in London, England.
  • He began training with Soke Bryan Cheek in 1979, which now makes him Soke’s longest serving active personal student.
  • Having achieved his 1st Dan Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu in 1985, he has continued his progression with dedicated training to his current rank of 9th Dan in Jukoshin Ryu.

  • Hanshi, started training in martial arts in 1972 with Aikido, he has also studied Karate, Judo and Wrestling.
  • Starting his training in JuJutsu in 1980 under the supervision of the renowned ‘Bo Munthe’. Hanshi has been teaching since 1994 and is the founder of “Atari Ryu Goshinjutsu – Sweden”.

  • Shihan started his training in 1998 in the Jukoshin Ryu system. Shihan has always practiced two martial arts to combine his Jiujitsu. He currently trains in both Jukoshin Ryu & Brazilian jiu-jitsu in which he has achieved black belt level & competes around the world.
  • In 2006 Shihan set up his own martial arts academy, travelling to London several times to learn directly from Soke Jukoshin Ryu. Soke embraced Shihan as one of his personal students.

  • Shihan Micha Vogt started training in martial arts over 35 years ago. Initially training in Judo and Karate, it is Jiu Jitsu to which he later wanted to dedicate his time. In 1993 he founded his own style, which he called “Sanbudo Ryu” together with Shihan Andres Sidler.
  • Shihan Micha Vogt met Soke Bryan Cheek in 2004 at the WEBBS Congress in Basel/Switzerland. He was immediately thrilled by what he saw. Jukoshin Ryu was his great fascination from that moment on.
  • In 2013 Shihan Micha Vogt decided to take another step. From this point on, he wanted to concentrate exclusively on the training of Jukoshin Ryu.

  • Shihan started training in Goju Jiu-jitsu Ryu in 1998. While looking for a more traditional style he was introduced in 2004 to Shihan Gary Houldsworth. The syllabus being taught by Shihan Houldsworth was a style of jiu-jitsu from England called Jukoshin Ryu Jiu-jitsu.
  • In 2005 Soke Bryan Cheek, the founder and head of Jukoshin Ryu, came to Ottawa. After several seminars and a Jukoshin camp, I was hooked. I knew Jukoshin Ryu was what I was looking for, what I needed. I had found my home.
  • Shihan’s knowledge of Jukoshin Ryu has grown greatly over the years, as has his love for this amazing system.

  • Renshi Alonso Rosado began training Martial Arts as a Child With His Father Alonso Rosado Sánchez, Who is an Aikido, Judo, Karate and Han Mu Do Grand Master. He has been practicing Martial Arts for More than 40 Years.
  • Along his Father Founded Katana Magazine in the Year 1990, the Leading Martial Arts Publication in Mexico.
  • Renshi is a student of Soke Cheek & Hanshi Sanchez and has gained the rank of Jukoshin Ryu Jiujitsu: 5th Dan.
